Work in a Factory!

Third grade students from a local elementary school came to NATSUME OPTICAL CORPORATION for a factory tour. They were studying what is made in a factory and how it is used for their social studies class assignment entitled “Work in a Factory”.
During the factory tour, they got to see processing machines that they would not normally see. They also tried their hand at making loupes using glass lenses. The students were very enthusiastic about the factory tour.
We would be happy if this factory tour at NATSUME were a good opportunity for them to develop an interest in light and manufacturing.
